our history ... Activenergy was set up in 1999 following the deregulation of the electricity supply industry. With the monopoly now broken, Activenergy, as an accredited contractor, can provide you with a competitive, obligation free quote. Activenergy was born with the help and expertise of a qualified and experienced engineer and linesman. The Company has since grown into an organization of eight highly qualified office staff and three experienced outdoor construction crews. Initially, Activenergy’s jobs were smaller style installations such as a substation on a pole, smaller subdivisions or minor rural extensions. While Activenergy still carries out a lot of installation of this nature, the underground residential, commercial and industrial developments are becoming a larger proportion of our work as developers come on board. Activenergy carries out these jobs professionally and efficiently - These are such Jobs as: Stage 1 of a 33kV line at Hillston in late 2007 using steel poles for a high voltage customer, Commercial and industrial subdivisions in Orange, Bathurst and Portland as well as providing high voltage supply to a major industrial redevelopment in Lithgow with new substations, metering and distribution boards, Large residential subdivisions in Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow and Wallerawang, Major and minor street lighting in urban, commercial and industrial developments.
